"Creating the Dialogue"

Since 2013 Brand Dialogue is conducting series of educational seminars to merge European branding & design strategy expertise with Indian knowledge and practice. These seminars were conducted in association with the Dutch Embassy and the Dutch Consulate. and held in Delhi and Mumbai.

The first seminar took place in November 2013 in Mumbai in The Taj Palace Hotel. Through three workshops a dialogue took place between Indian and Dutch specialists in the areas of on-line design, naming and retail branding.

The second seminar was held in June 2014 and focused on the importance of private label branding for Indian retailers. The seminar was organised in association with the Retailers Association of India.

A seminar was held on November 18, 2014 and reached the Indian financial sector. This branding and design seminar saw delegates from India's top Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) companies such as Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, Religare Securities, Tata Capital and Yes Bank.

In 2014 we conducted a seminar on Branding and E-Commerce in Mumbai, again in association with the Retailers Association of India (RAI). Amongst others participants from Shoppers Stop, Raymond, Baggit and Monginis attended the session.

In 2015 a seminar was held in New Delhi in association with FICCI. The seminar on the Return on Investment (ROI) in Branding saw enthusiastic participation by delegates from HUL, Benneton India, GMR etc.

Also in 2015 a seminar in Mumbai was conducted about “Amsterdam: Cradle of Creativity, Oasis of Innovation”. Team members were involved in the city branding for Amsterdam; we believe Indian companies should explore Amsterdam as a gateway to Europe.

In 2015 a seminar was held in association with the Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI). This seminar on Pharmaceutical Branding saw enthusiastic participants from top pharma and wellness companies like Abbott, Cadila, Blue Cross, Piramal Healthcare etc.

Master Classes on Design and Brand Management


Brand Dialogue conducted a series of Master Classes on Design and Brand Management across India in 2013-15. All these highly specialized Master Classes were conducted in association with the Technological University of Delft (TU-Delft, Netherlands). TU Delft is one of the leading Dutch universities in design and is one of the most respected universities in Europe.

These Master Classes take place over a one or two-day period and presented latest insights into design and brand management from the most respected international experts.

Our first Master Class took place on the 15th and 16th of May 2014 at the seaside Novotel Hotel in Juhu. It was conducted by Dr. Rik Riezebos, managing director of EURIB (Rotterdam). The subject of the Master Class was Building Strong Brands in India.

A second Master Class was conducted by international design expert Jeroen van Erp. The subject of the Master Class was Creative Strategy: The Importance of Design in Branding. It saw many enthusaistic participants from Croma by TATA, ABN Amro, JK Helene Curtis etc. The masterclass was also held in Novotel in Mumbai/Juhu.

A third Master Class was about Branding and Innovation. Conducted by international service design and branding expert, Melvin Brand Flu from The Netherlands in association with TU Delft. The Master Class was part of the FICCI Massmerize congress.

In Delhi Brand Dialogue (together with TU-Delft) organized a master class in Hotel LaLit on Design Thinking for health organisations. The masterclass was conducted by Richard Goossens, professor at the TU-Delft.

The year 2015 ended with a master class on e-commerce in Mumbai conducted by Patrick Sanwikarja. With representatives from Croma, Abbott and RAI. Location was Hyatt Regency in Mumbai.
